ECOLOGICAL.VEHICLES
Since 2002, MITI has successfully organized "EVmc" Salon International de Monte-Carlo electric vehicles, hybrid and fuel cell, and in 2005, the exhibition held in the framework of EVS 21, global event dedicated to this type of mobility.
In 2006, MITI has decided to open its doors to all clean vehicles and sealed an alliance with the Association MC2D Monaco (Monte Carlo Sustainable Development) also to promote the use of renewable energies. Thus, EVER Monaco is the new name of the event, which is a continuation of "EVmc" while projecting toward a sustainable future. Its objective is, through exposure, to support the development of these technologies and their applications - actual or under development - to promote their commercialization.
EVER Monaco also provides policymakers, researchers, industrialists, economic and financial sectors, through conferences and round tables, a place of reflection and exchange on ways to increase the use of these energies which are a key to sustainable development.

RENEWABLE ENERGIES AND CONFERENCES
MC2D established in July 2004, aims to bring together the various Monegasque NGO's working for the protection and improvement of environmental quality in different areas to work together to coordinate their actions and increase their effectiveness.
MC2D actions relate to public awareness and public authorities on environmental issues in the context of sustainable development of the Principality.
In 2006, Ever Monaco was born with a section of renewable energies to sensitize the public and private decision makers, to move toward these technologies.

GRIMALDI FORUM MONACO
A lasting vision of events
As an iconic actor of the universe of events, conscious of the importance of limiting its environmental footprint, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco is actively committed to preserve the environment, the image of the entire Principality.
Getting involved
The Grimaldi Forum Monaco is one of the first convention centers in Europe to obtain ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management system: natural thermal insulation, use of seawater for cooling and heating, sorting and recycling waste, low energy lighting, use of eco label, eco-sensitive providers.
Being committed
To mark the launch in Monaco for the International Year of Forests in 2011, proclaimed by the United Nations, the Foundation Prince Albert II of Monaco organized a press conference held on February the 7th at the Novotel Monte Carlo, to explain its global commitment to fight against deforestation. This was an opportunity for HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, to recall the actions supported by His Foundation for a year now, including the project "Together against deforestation" (ensemble contre la déforestation), jointly promoted by the Grimaldi Forum Monaco and the Directorate of Tourism of the Principality.
Through the flagship example of the Centre of Excellence in the Congo Basin forests, the latter aims to raise awareness to the tourism business to the responsibility of forest management and use of certified providers.
